Website Redesign

Solar Website Redesign

  • Solar

This solar installer had real credibility — completed projects, real savings numbers, happy customers — none of which showed up on their website, which read like a static brochure with a contact form bolted to the bottom.

In four weeks I redesigned the site end-to-end: structure, brand expression, and the conversion path, with the goal of turning existing proof points into the thing that actually earns a homeowner's email address.

View Site

Proof that never reached the page

The business had the credibility problem solved offline — testimonials, case-by-case savings data, completed installs — and none of it made it past a sales call. The website's only job was to get a visitor to that first conversation, and it wasn't doing it.

Every section earns the next click

I restructured the site as a single line of escalating trust — savings estimate, then proof, then a low-commitment next step — instead of a flat menu of pages competing for attention.

Leading with the number, not the pitch

The homepage opens with a localized savings estimate instead of a hero statement about the company, because the number is the only thing a first-time visitor actually came to find out.

Making proof scannable, not buried

Testimonials and completed installs were redesigned as a browsable grid with real numbers attached, replacing a single generic quote block most visitors never scrolled to.

Shrinking the ask to fit the trust built so far

The contact form was split into a one-field quote request up front, with fuller details requested only after a visitor had already committed to the first step.

A site built to carry its own sales case

The redesign gave the business a site that did the job their best salesperson did in person — lead with the number, back it with proof, ask for just enough to start the conversation.

  • 4 weeks strategy through final handoff
  • 1 funnel replacing a flat, unordered page structure
  • 3-step conversion path, down from a single buried form
